A New Year - Going Fast
Already a week into February and before you know it, it will be Christmas again. Once again many moons have passed since my last post, but school has me on my toes.
This quarter I am taking the last of my science classes: Physics 202, Programming II and Statistics. Physics is very confusing. We are doing stuff on electricity, circuits and what not. Basically I am lost, but I will make it through I am sure. Programming is not so much hard, not that it is easy either, but time consuming. I spend probably about 15 to 20 hours a week on homework. However it is my favorite class because once I complete an assignment I can actually see something that I created, even if it is a little cheesy. As for my statistics class it is pretty easy, but a lot of memorization, not so much math is involved.
As for work it is going ok. I was employee of the month again, but I think it is a joke. For all the work that I put out they gave me a sweater and $20 to a grocery store. They used to give $40 to a restaurant, but I guess with the significant increase in profits last year they had to make some cut backs. I also hope to quit by September when I get my financial aid and live off of that.
In the summer I will probably get a second job while Becca is gone to keep me busy. I am also going to go to my dads in Indiana for about a week in July. I have not been there in about 4 years, so I am very excited to go. I think Jessica, Randy and Abby will be there as well, so it should be fun. It looks like next quarter will be my last quarter until I graduate with an AS degree. I am pretty happy to be done with it because it has taken me three years to get there.
I think I am going to start and work towards being a vegetarian. I am slowly cutting out meat. For my first step I am cutting out red meat. I am also only going to eat meat for one meal a day. I just think that there are so many other resources for meat alternatives.
Anyway, that is just a bout everything that has happened in the last month or so. I am going to try and post more, but no guarantees because of school and work.
